I am Guna Sekhar, a passionate sound designer and music producer whose journey in the world of sound began at a young age. Music has been my lifelong love, and I started my path as a performer and producer, working alongside legendary artists even at a tender age.

 

Growing up, my fascination with gaming and films only deepened my passion for sound. I realized that audio has the power to transform visual experiences into something truly magical. This revelation led me to venture into the film and gaming industries, where I could combine my love for music and sound with the immersive worlds of games and movies.

 

In the early stages of my career, I had the privilege of working on gaming projects, dedicating myself to sound design and music production for various games. The thrill of creating soundscapes that brought virtual worlds to life was indescribable. As I delved deeper into the art of gaming sound, my skills grew, and I discovered new ways to elicit emotions and immerse players in unforgettable experiences.

 

After enriching my portfolio in the gaming world, I found an opportunity to share my knowledge and expertise with others. For the past eight years, I have been working as a sound engineer and instructor at the American Embassy School in New Delhi, India. This role has not only allowed me to continue my passion for sound but also provided a platform to nurture aspiring sound designers and music producers.

 

While I thoroughly enjoy my current position, my heart yearns to return to the realm of game sound design. The exhilarating process of crafting audio experiences that complement gameplay mechanics and heighten player engagement is something I eagerly anticipate.
